WENK (Denver) Alex Smith
Hey guys! Hope all is well at school or on your internships! Some background about where I am working for the currently, Wenk is a landscape architecture office based in Denver that works on a huge range of projects, from more urban park spaces to campus planning and tons of wetland restoration. So far, I’ve been lucky enough to work on six different projects, which has made every day feel different and exciting. A big chunk of my time has been spent on two master plan renderings. I have also been working on a community outreach presentation for a local park 2 mins from my house! Looking forward to drawing concepts this upcoming Friday! They’ve been both tedious and oddly relaxing at the same time. During my first week, I also got to go on a couple of site visits, which was a great way to dive in.
